Along comes a dump truck who is so important that he has no time for niceties. Alas, he doesn’t get very far-he drives through a puddle and gets stuck in mud! The animals ignore him but the little blue truck jumps in to help the dump truck.

The animals can’t ignore Little Blue…so they come over to help Little Blue. As a result the dump truck learns a valuable lesson!

The rhyming text and the artwork really draw the kids in. The two year old loved the animal noises while the older children picked up on the rhyming words. The idea of a truck and animals being friends seems to have an added appeal to them.
