Half Chevron stitch is a variation of chevron stitch. It is usually used to stitch borders for blankets and hankies.
Knowing how to stitch chevron stitch will be helpful but it is not mandatory.
Bring the needle up at 1, go down at 2 and come back up at 3.
Now the stitch will look like this.
Pierce the needle at 4 and bring it up at 5.
Please note how 4 and 5 are directly below 1.
Also make sure the working thread is below the needle as shown in the image above.
At this stage, the stitch should look like this.
Go down at 6 and come back up at 1.
Now repeat the above mentioned steps.
