Mirror Work / Shisha Embroidery / Abhla Bharat is an Indian embroidery stitch where mirrors are attached to fabric.
There are many variations of this stitch. In this tutorial, l am going to demonstrate the simplest and easiest method of them all.
Keep the mirror on the fabric and draw a circle around it (as close as possible to the periphery of the mirror).
Stitch an outline with chain stitch.
After this first row of chains, we won’t be piercing the fabric.
The next row is done with stitches that are very similar to chain stitch (shown below). The needle is passed through the inner loop of the chain. The working thread is under the needle. I am going to show this without the mirror first.

Repeat this step for every chain.
For this method of mirror work, you can work half the circle without the mirror and then insert it.
Insert the mirror into the pocket.
You can add one more layer if you want.
